Veg Biryani is a perfect blend of colors, aromas and flavors — a dish that proves that biryani without meat can be just as sumptuous and satisfying. Vegetables such as carrots, peas, cauliflower, potatoes and green beans are cooked in a rich sauce of spices: garam masala, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom.

 

Layers of seasoned vegetables and fragrant basmati rice are brought together in a dum style of cooking (slow in its own steam), allowing each bite to absorb deep, authentic flavors. Saffron and fried onions give the dish a golden color and a slight sweetness.

Veg Biryani is served with raita (yogurt sauce), chutney and fresh salad.
